Our school blooms into life..... With a colourful inauguration on 25th May 2016 with the theme “Back to School”. Students were very happy to see their friends and teachers.

Environment Day | 5th June 2016

To mark The World Environment Day... sapling plantation was organised on June 6. Students were so exhorted to bring saplings and planted them in school campus. All took the oath to save mother earth.

Investiture ceremony | 12th July 2016

On 12th July 2016 SCS instituted the new student council for the academic session 2016-17 in a grand Investiture Ceremony
School Prefect Miss.Janhavi.L and vice prefect Master Mohith from Grade IX and Junior prefects were honoured with sashes and badges. Sports Director Mr Anup administered the oath to student Council and reminded them to live up to the expectations and work with school. Roles & responsibilities were assigned to the council members. Chairman Sir inspired the elected students with his motivational talk.

Yoga day | 21st june 2016

World Yoga day on June 21 students came to know the significance of yoga in day to day life. To improve their concentration level many asanas and breathing techniques were demonstrated by Yoga Instructor. Whole school....... including management...teachers... nonteaching staff ...took part in this healthy session.

Parental Participation

To involve parent community with school activities and get feedbacks, suggestions about their wards..... an orientation programme was conducted on 12 September. It was a grand success and we are moving ahead with the implementations.

Dental check

As part of Health Programme...... dental check up was held on july 12 for all grades...Doctors gave various tips for maintaining a proper oral hygiene to the students through demonstration.

Independence Day

To commemorate the architects of our Nation and show respect towards our country ....Independence Day was celebrated with great respect on 15th August. The choir.... the stunning march past by four houses really awakened everyone’s feeling towards our motherland. Competitions like.....Greeting Card making, Rangoli..... salad making..... Debate.... Elocution... Were held to foster greater knowledge and skills.
The 68th Independence Day was celebrated with a lot of gaiety and patriotic fervour. Chief Guest Col. S.S. Kartikeya SM, Guest of Honour Retd. Col. & Mrs. R. S. Tokas, Chairperson Ms. Madhu Gupta and Director Mr. Puneet Gupta presided over the function. March Past was demonstrated by all the students of Four Houses and Pre-Primary presented a tableaux depicting India’s freedom struggle. Primary Wing showcased a vibrant PT Drill. Last but not the least, a scintillating Musical Drama depicting the journey of India’s Independence left the audience spellbound. Inter-house Group Song and Dance Competition raised the energy level of the students to its zenith.

Krishna Janmashtami | 14th September

AS part of our holistic design we celebrate one cultural festival...... this year we observed Sri Krishna Janmashtami blissfully on 14th September. Our Grade 1 & 2 students were colourfully dressed up as Krishna and Radha richly depicted Indian tradition and culture. Literary competitions in Hindi were held based on this theme as part of Hindi Diwas. Students displayed their talent by Pot painting...Colouring & drawing of Krishna Picture.... Flute making and many more.

Kannada Rajyothsava

As part of Kannada Rajyothsava celebration Kannada Literary Competitions were held to infuse respect devotion towards mother tongue its rich culture & heritage.

Children’s Day

On November 14 Children enthralled the audience by showcasing musical and cultural talents. Indoor and Outdoor games were conducted to have lots of fun.

Saraswathi Pooja

It is an occasion when we worship Maa Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Entire school assembled for the pooja ceremony on March 3 ,2017 to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati .

Ganith Week

We hosted Ganith Week from 17th to 22 December as it was the birthday of Great Mathemetician Srinivasa Ramnujan on December 22. Mathematical activities like pattern making...... Memory Game.... Building the shapes..... Mental Math etc were held to burn the fear of maths.

National Science Day | 28th February

National science day was celebrated on 28th February. Students from Grade 1 to 9 participated . They displayed various working models and experiments in Science.The major attractions were Paddle boat,Electric Car, Drone ,Structure of DNA, and Role play of the life cycle of Silk moth.

Annual Sports Day | 5th November

The domain of sports has the vast potential to ‘better’ the game of life itself. Besides promoting physical fitness, it lays importance on healthy life style & helps in developing social skills. It instills values like discipline, perseverance, team spirit and sportsmanship etc

Annual Sports Meet on (November 5) kicked off to a colourful start with a solemn March Past. The day was a Testimony to the true valour of student manifested on the track.... Many exciting track events.....team events...... were held and.... all house teams participated and performed wonderfully.

Visit to GRS Fantasy Park

School trips are a welcome break in the routine for students. In a recreational manner. The students of SCS from Grade 6 to Grade 9 visited GRS Fantasy Park in Mysore on 12 Jan 2017.
Students were welcomed by 5D visual cinema. The spectators can physically experience the sensations of the main character with special effects such as in hair splashing water etc…Students enjoyed dry rides and water games.

Innovative Film City

SCS had organized one day Annual educational excursion to innovative film city from Grade I to Grade V students on 12/1/2017. Students enjoyed magic show, mirror maze, mock village, Replies believe it or not and Scary house.
Most informative part of the trip was the display of Fossils, Art work of African tribal culture, Ancient coins collection from different countries Students enjoyed the water games and dance

Krishna Janamastami- 03/09/2015

Independence Day - 15/08/2015

A great day and a proud moment for every Indian. There was celebration in the air and everyone took pride to be an Indian. Our chief guest of honour was Mrs. Malathi Pattana Shetty, CEO Mr. Keerthan Kumar, Soundarya Management and Science Principal Dr. Suresh Hegde and Soundarya Central School Principal Mrs. Renuka Devi Ravada. The slow march and March past was so alluring and that was the main highlight. The National flag was hoisted by the chief guest followed by National anthem. Motivating and heartfelt speeches and spectacular colourful drills, dance and skits were performed by students which aroused the spirit of India.

Talent's Day - 06/06/2015

Soundaryan’s talent search offered every child a chance to shine on June 6. The programme was proceeded by prayer song and a warm welcome to Management and Principal. On Talent’s Day our school children shared a kaleidoscope of skills and interest in singing , dancing, playing instruments, drawing, art Crafts and many other talents. The audience offered enthusiastic support and appreciation.

School Picnic - 07/01/2015

Picnic was arranged to refresh our tired nerve students get a temporary relief from their studies at Nelamangala. . All the students enjoyed the various slides, wave pools and rides. Magic show, gave more vigor to students. Food was provided by them. Children and teachers played many games, sang and danced.The picnic thus came an end. But it’s memory will last forever.

Christmas Celebration - 24/12/2014

It’s a beautiful time of the year, December and with it comes Christmas, the season of great Joy. It’s a time of God showing his great love for us. We commemorate the birth of Jesus. Students participated in many colorful programs. A glimpse of Christ’s birth was enacted. Bringing a blend of traditional heart – warming performance a feeling of love and kindness followed through the air. The children were very excited and thanked the Management and Principal for the wonderful opportunity given to them.

“ Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trial”. Soundarya Central School also had its first Investiture Ceremony on November 8th 2014. The Chief Guest were Mr. Keerthan Kumar and Principal Mrs.Renuka Devi. Jahnavi.L of Grade 7 and Kushal.B.S of Grade 6 were elected as the School Captain and the Vice Captain respectively. The house captains along with other leaders administered their Oath which was read out byMr.Keerthan Kumar. The school wished the leaders good luck and hopes that they do their responsibilities to their very best.

Gandhi Jayanti - 2/10/2014

“Peace is the most powerful weapon of mankind”. - M.K.Gandhi. Gandhi Jayanthi was an eventful day for the students of Grade 1 to Grade 7. Our Principal Mrs. Renuka Devi gave a good message through her speech and cultural programs were conducted that enthralled the audience. Power point presentation on Gandhiji’s life were shown to the students.

Teachers’s Day - 5/09/2014

“Teachers are the most responsible and important members of society because their professional efforts effects the fate of the earth.”The programme started with an Invocation Song followed by the lightening the lap by, the Chairman Sri.Soundarya.P.Manjappa , Managing Director Smt.Sunitha , Mr.Keerthan Kumar and principals of Soundraya. Sri Manjappa gave motivation to all teachers through his words and the event was concluded with a beautiful quote from Smt. Renuka Devi, Principal, Soundarya Central School "” Love for profession, sincere and determining to shape the destiny of nation."

Independence Day - 15/08/2014

Celebrated 68th Independence Day with great zeal along in presence of out honorary Chief Guests Mr. S.K. Basavaraj and Mr.Jagannath Rao. The event started with hoisting the flag followed by National Salute, National Anthem and inspiring speeches from Chief Guests and Mr. Keerthan Kumar.

Spell Bee - 09/08/2014

Spell Bee Competition was conducted in the presence of Chief Guest Sri.Keerthan Kumar and Principal Madam. Mrs. Simi asked spellings to the students and Mrs. Vimal and Mrs. Eleena were in the judging Panel. Three consecutive rounds i.e the spelling round, in which many spellings were asked. Neat visual through which they have to spell the visuals and the last rapid round, within 20 seconds they have to spell as many as words. Students came out with their best abilities.

Literary Competition - 21/06/2014 to 23/06/2014

Education and competition are the two universal ingredient in all human cultures. We conducted the Poem Recitation and Elocution Competition to encourage the students to learn and develop their English Speaking skills. We saw both at Junior & Senior levels coming forward eagerly to participate.The competition concluded with great enthusiasm and fervor with intense cheering from the crowd.

World Environment Day - 5/06/2014

World Environment Day is celebrated to raise awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth.It was inaugurated by the beloved Principal Mrs.Renuka Devi. Speeches, slogan, poems and skits were commenced by the students to enhance awareness. Children contributed siblings and it was planted by Principal with the help of teachers and students.
